Our history
Since 1973
Canol was born in 1973 from the idea of its founder Guido Dal Masetto who wanted to develop a machine capable of automatically producing puff pastry cannoli. This idea soon became a reality with the construction of the first machine and being, at that time, the only one in the world to obtain a patent for the industrial invention.
In the early years of its activity, Canol was mainly concerned with the production of the cannoli machine, but then in the late 1970s and early 1980s, thanks to market requests and needs, production expanded to other types of machines. Thus, the first make-up tables, fryers, injecting machines and dosing machines are built.
In the decade of the 1980s, perseverance in technical product development and the search for new markets led the company to enter international markets , devising innovative solutions that enabled its customers to automate processes that until then had been carried out manually.
In the late 1980s and early 1990s the company felt the need to look to the world of the confectionery industry, designing and developing the first automatic lines for continuous extrusion and lamination of puff pastry, croissant dough and yeast dough.
During the 1990s, the range of produced machines was further expanded through the development of industrial forming lines for laminated bread such as ciabatta, focaccia, and pizza.
During the 2000s, further developments and continuous advances in automation led the company to change its headquarters to expand its production site and to better accommodate the major players in the pastry and bakery market in a more modern and dynamic site.
In recent years, Canol has been characterized by the continuous and remarkable technical development and improvement of the produced machines and has established itself in the international market as a reliable partner and supplier of lines and equipments for the confectionery and food industry.
